My Little Angels

Carson 3 years, Lexi 2 months

Our Newest Addition

Lexi Marie Miles
Born January 10, 2011

6lbs 12oz 18in long

8 months? wow.

It has been way, way too long since I've posted anything. So much for keeping a record of the past 8 months of our lives, haha! Here's a brief recap and the start of a new beginning...

- May 2010- Jan 2011: PREGNANT. Morning sickness to the max for 4 1/2 months, then 2 1/2 months of bliss, followed by 3rd trimester hypertention, 5 weeks of bedrest, and another C-section at 37 weeks. All worth it for this little angel...

-Feb 2011 Cdawg turned 3! He is such a smart, funny, sweet little boy, but man can he throw a tantrum! The 2's were great at our house, but instead it has turned into the terrible 3's. Even with the fits, we couldn't imagine our lives without this cute little boy.

-March 2011-Mike got promoted to store manager (woohoo!) at AT&T! The only catch is the store is in Cedar City so right now we are in the process of moving. I never ever thought I would live in a small town, but we found an amazing house in Enoch, UT that we're so excited for! Mike moved in last week and I'll follow as soon as we get our house up here rented. It isn't easy being apart right now, but we're excited for the future and the new adventures coming our way.

Comfy, I guess

This is how I found Carson the other night when I went in to check on him...curled up asleep in the laundry basket, on the recliner in his room. HAHAHA Silly boy. Doesn't look very comfy to me, but I guess it was good enough for him to fall asleep in!

Answer to Prayers

Last month as we delt with the many medical issues between Mike and I, we managed to rack up over $1000 in medical bills...and that is our portion after insurance has covered their end...YIKES! So this week as I was going through the mail I opened up yet another bill from the doctor, this time for $175. I spent the whole day stressing and praying, wondering how we were going to pay for everything. The next day I opened a letter from our insurance company, fully expecting it to show another charge from another doctor. BUT, to my suprise it was a check for $175! I had to read it 3 times before I actually believed it. Seriously, who ever gets refunded from their insurance company??? But apparently we had met our deductible and then overpayed by that much in June. So although the check was only enough to cover that one bill, it was truly an answer to prayers and a testimony to me that Heavenly Father does know what each of us are going through is watching out for us.
